A young woman was left hysterical after discovering a hidden camera inside staff toilets at a Screwfix store.
The employee noticed an object inside of an air freshener in a cubicle at the shop in Glasgow.
On closer inspection, she found the device stuffed inside the canister and ran out of the toilets in a state of shock.
Police were called to the hardware shop on Nurseries Road in the Baillieston area of the city on Friday, March 21.
A probe is now underway to establish the full circumstances.

Speaking to the Record, a source revealed that the 'finger of suspicion' is on everyone at the store.
He said: “The young girl was in the toilet when she noticed an air freshener that didn’t look right. “She had a closer look and saw a camera hidden inside it and ran out the toilets. “She was hysterical and the police were phoned soon after. It's a really unsettling thing to happen in your place of work. “This is a small factory shop so we are all left wondering who left this and how long it has been there before she found it.
"This store only just opened earlier this year so most people don't know each other that well and the finger of suspicion is on us all."
Screwfix said they are "concerned' and are working with Police Scotland.
A spokesperson said: “We are really concerned by this discovery, and we are working with the police to support their investigation.
"As this is ongoing, we’re unable to comment further at this time.”
Following the incident, campaign groups have demanded more protection for women at the workplace.
Susan Smith from For Woman Scotland commented: "Companies may not feel that they should be performing sweeps of facilities to locate hidden cameras, but they do have a duty to protect all staff and they certainly must not ignore reports of this nature.
"Women need to feel safe in the work place."
Last year the Record told how a camera hidden in a toilet at a high school in Dundee allegedly filmed hundreds of naked girls.
The device was discovered stashed inside a toilet roll holder by a teenage schoolgirl after she had excused herself from class to go the bathroom.
The teen claimed the phone had been recording for about 15 minutes beforehand and she allegedly discovered hundreds more images stored on the camera roll.
Police confirmed a 15-year-old boy had been charged in connection with the incident.
The girl's mum told how her daughter had reached for toilet roll when she noticed the recording device.
She said: "I'm beyond horrified at what's happened to my daughter. Something is so wrong with a world where your kids can't even use the bathroom anymore without being violated. It's disgusting.
"She deleted the video of herself straight away and then looked at the camera roll and there were hundreds of videos and images of girls naked in changing rooms and using the toilet.
"She went back to class and handed the phone to the teacher, the school contacted the police who then came to see my daughter last night."
